Meet Our Staff:
Owner of Ron Benfield CPA & Associates. The firm was established over 25 years ago. Ron earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Southern California and worked for six years as an auditor with a large national accounting firm. Past Manager of Accounting Policies and Procedures for JPMorgan Chase Bank in Europe. Previously employed as Financial Controller of a Foreign Exchange Broker in London, England. As an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at Valencia College in Orlando, he taught Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Accounting with QuickBooks for eight years.
Michelle has over 25 years of payroll experience with the firm. She is the payroll expert and handles all payroll functions for our clients, including payroll preparation, direct deposit, payroll tax returns, etc. She is a member of the American Payroll Association and attends training courses provided by that organization.
Accountant and Implementation Manager
Olivia has Bachelor’s degrees in both Business Administration and Computer Science. She brings eight years of QuickBooks experience and numerous other business skills to the team. As our Implementation Manager, Olivia is primarily responsible for getting our new clients setup and running smoothly. She meets with our new clients early in the onboarding process and evaluates their requirements and the services that our firm will provide. She handles the first few months of the new client’s orientation to our firm processes to get them to a comfortable level of working with us. On the accounting side, Olivia is our Sales Tax Returns specialist. Her dual degrees also come in useful when skills.
